Strikes at Barcelona El Prat Airport by Security Control Workers (Eulen)
Queues of 3 hours & up to 8 hours at security checkpoints
(normally 20 mins)
Fridays, Sundays and Mondays
4 different strikes:
- 5.30 am to 6.30 am
- 10.30 am to 11.30 am
- 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm
- 6.30 pm to 7.30 pmFrom August 14 the strike will be indefinite and 24 hours
Eulen staff appear to demand, demand more personnel, bonuses & an improvement of working conditions.
On strike days, passengers need to go to the airport several hours in advance. 1,000 passengers missed flights.
